Halloween

Yes…I know it is December. I am definitely behind. Life has been crazy. Since Fall break, I have had at least one student in my class quarantining at any given time, which means I have been teaching in person AND virtually-which makes for a very busy life. So. I’m attempting to play catch up. 🙂

Halloween is always pretty low key around here, and this year we kept it even more low key because of Covid.

Josie had been planning her costume for MONTHS. She did it all herself, and was thrilled with how it turned out! She was Belatrix Lestrange, from Harry Potter.

Jack didn’t put a whole lot of thought into his costume, and decided at the last minute he wanted to be Quicksilver, an Avengers character who wears athletic pants, green tennis shoes, and has silver hair. EASY costume!

Serious faces, LOL:

Our church friends dropped by to trick or treat, and all 4 kids walked over to our neighbors’ house, who were sitting outside with masks on to hand out candy safely. 🙂

Then we stopped just a few places to trick or treat (and stayed on porches!) on the way to Grammy and Pappy’s- Mee-Maw’s, Mrs. Cindy’s, Mrs. Betty’s, and Mrs. Laurie’s.

Then we went to Grammy and Pappy’s for an outside chili supper and fire.

After we ate, we all walked down the field to trick or treat at Andy and Christie’s, too!

I was thankful that Halloween was on a Saturday this year!
