For my friends, Scott and Heather. Heather was scheduled to have a c-section next week to deliver their little boy, Maddox. However, today her uterus ruptured, severing Maddox’s umbilical cord. Heather had emergency surgery, and is stable. Little Maddox, however, needs your prayers greatly. He is in Vanderbilt NICU. He is breathing on his own, but is very agitated and having seizures. He is wearing a “cool cap” (freezing water running through it at all times) to prevent his brain from swelling. The doctors are not sure how long he was without oxygen, and they cannot do a brain scan to assess if there is any damage until he is more stable.
Please pray for this sweet family, little Maddox, and the doctors that are taking care of him!!
