This is a quick post, because Josie will NOT take a nap….We are going to the lake tonight to spend the night with mom and dad on their boat-yay! I will update on how it went tomorrow or Sunday 🙂 ….and I am sure I will have a cute lake pic to add, too 🙂
Josie had another weight re-check today. She is 9 pounds, 2 ounces-yay! Dr. Eidson said we can now go back to just nursing (another yay!), and when we do supplement with formula, it doesn’t have to be high calorie. So all in all, great news.
We saw Mrs. Lisa, Katie and Cooper at the doctor’s office. Cooper is so cute! Josie was very fascinated by him. Cooper was 10 pounds, 13 ounces today. We have got to get a picture of Cooper and Josie together :).
After we went to the doctor’s office, we went to Babies R Us. I went ahead and got Josie’s Halloween costume, because they are slowly running out. She is going to be a giraffe-it is so cute! I can’t wait to dress her up :).
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
I have officially bought Josie a piece of clothing. It is the first thing I have bought for her. I have been doing really good, because every time I have found something I wanted to buy, I think about all the clothes she already has that she hasn’t even worn yet! She has not even gotten to wear even a fourth of her wardrobe. However, what I bought today actually will save me money. I found a little white sweat jacket at Target. I am hoping this will let her wear some of her summer wardrobe a little longer, because all of her 0-3 months stuff is summer, and she is just going to be getting into her 0-3 months stuff when it is getting cooler. So I thought the jacket was a smart buy. I am hoping it will prevent me from having to buy so much fall stuff. We will see…
Doctor update: We go to the doctor tomorrow for another weight check. We are hoping she weighs at least 9 pounds and 3 ounces, because that means she gained an ounce a day like she’s supposed to. I guess we will find out tomorrow…I will keep you updated.
Josie is 10 weeks old today! I cannot believe she is that old, and she is getting so big, and acting so big. I can hardly remember the days when we were trying to coax her awake just so we could see her eyes……now she is awake most of the day, and we are trying to coax her to take a nap! 🙂 I love being a mom.
